Finish Your Series Challenge

The most recent Top Ten Tuesday focused on series enders. The lists had many different books on them but one thing many had in common, is that people are terrible at finishing series. I want to out all the series that I am currently reading in one place and to challenge myself to finish them. Maybe you have a series or two to finish also? If so, please post your own list and shame yourself into finishing those series!

Wow, that is a lot of books! My goal is to read three of these books a month for the next six months. Most of these I own, so it will be conquering my Shelf Of Shame which makes it a twofer!

Would you like to join me in your own goal post? If you do, link up at the bottom and we can see if your list is a bad as mine.

  1. Omg, I want to do this challenge so so so much! It’s such a cool idea! I can think of like a few off the top of my head so I need this. But… school is a pain in the ass and I have like 1921301239 exams coming up. I will do this though! My goal is to remember to come back to this post. Maybe when summer holidays roll around (well summer for me, winter for the Americans). Soon. I will sign up soon.

    • Thanks! I hope you do sign up when you have more time. One thing I am so curious to see, if other people have lists as bad as mine. I suspect they do.

  2. I never join year long challenges for finishing series because that seems too short a time for such a daunting task! (I am in the middle of MANY series, and want to start so many more!) But if this one is on-going, I just may need to join up…If I ever get the courage to put into writing how many unfinished series I have!

    • I think the first step is to write them down. Just putting together this post was kind of sobering. I keep coming back to the post periodically to remind myself how bad it’s gotten.

If you are still not sold on putting together a post on it, you can try FictFact. That way at least all the series are in one place.
