Through The Ever Night (Under The Never Sky #2) by Veronica Rossi
Title: Through The Ever Night (Under The Never Sky #2)
Author: Veronica Rossi
Publication Date: January 8, 2013
Series: Under The Never Sky
It’s been months since Aria last saw Perry. Months since Perry was named Blood Lord of the Tides, and Aria was charged with an impossible mission. Now, finally, they are about to be reunited. But their reunion is far from perfect. The Tides don’t take kindly to Aria, a former Dweller. And with the worsening Aether storms threatening the tribe’s precarious existence, Aria begins to fear that leaving Perry behind might be the only way to save them both.
Threatened by false friends, hidden enemies, and powerful temptations, Aria and Perry wonder, Can their love survive through the ever night?
I have to start this review by saying I love everything about Through The Ever Night by Veronica Rossi. Veronica Rossi keeps the story moving with excitement and strong character development. It moves forward at a quick pace and the balance of the different storylines coming together and diverging, is done well. It is rare that I read a book where I am unable to put it down and actually like all of the characters but I did here.
Starting with Aria, who has evolved from the scared girl we saw in Under The Never Sky. Aria has learned to live in the real world and shows such strength when it comes to protecting those she loves. Aria and Perry’s love is really a huge draw in this series. The moments that they are able to spend together are so tender and passionate that it is impossible not to root for them.
We finally get to meet Liv in Through The Ever Night by Veronica Rossi and she is as awesome as anyone who is loved by Roar would have to be. Her strength and fearlessness in the face of a life-time of unhappiness and danger, is really astounding. The way she is able to embrace Aria is touching and one of my favorite parts of Through The Ever Night.
Through The Ever Night by Veronica Rossi is filled with excitement, great love stories, and strong characters that do the right thing. It is a book that will keep you up late at night reading one last chapter before bed. It is part of a series that I will be desperately waiting for book three to come out so I can continue to live in the world created by Veronica Rossi. If you have not read Through The Ever Night, I recommend getting a copy right now and spending the week-end reading.
